NISSAN & UEFA
We wanted to create awareness around new set of Nissan tech features. They were amazing new technologies, but not easily explained in 6-15 seconds.
To make it digestible and exciting , we took advantage of our UEFA partnership. We had two of the most technical football players in the world: Gareth Bale (from Real Madrid) and Sergio Aguero (from Manchester City) explaining tech features in a simple engaging way.
Unfortunately, a week before our TVC shoot, Gareth Bale got injured while playing a game with the Real Madrid. He went to surgery. We panicked. But we quickly recalculated. We hopped on social media and made a contest among his fans to “sub” him on the TVC. This had never been done before. The social campaign created buzz in anticipation; and we were able to produce the TVC with a charismatic young female fan and Sergio Aguero.
